So here is Brecken's "big boy bed"!!!! Garrett did an amazing job. He was surprised how good it turned out, but i knew he had it in him the whole time!!! He got to get a circular saw for the bed to build it, and now he says he feels like a "real man." Go figure, a man and his tools. :) I even helped some. I did some sanding and some other small things. Brecken was the General Contractor on the job. He was always on the phone with somebody!!:) He was cute and was a trooper through the whole day.

What a cool bunk bed! I love the dark stain you guys chose. Good job Garrett! That will be so fun for Brecken to tell his friends someday that his dad made his bed! Matt likes to make things out of wood and loves having all those wood-working tools also. :0)
yeah, that bed looks pretty sweet. So does this mean the ruckus of the saw I had to listen to while eating my cereal has stopped. I sure hope so.:)

NICE bunk bed! i'm very impressed. and really cute hair! sorry we didn't stop by last night. we were at a birthday party down at the clubhouse and it went a little later than we thought then our niece stopped by! we all should get together though - alan and i keep saying we should but never do! was it a fun night?
that is the cutest bed ever. i told justin that i wanted him to build bunk beds later for our kids....good job garrett.
