Stickin to my Guns!!!:)

So there are no longer any of these in our house. Not the children the binkies!!! haha. Brecken without a binky is like a heroin addict without there heroin i'm not kidding. He is beside himself without it, so we have all struggled to get him off of it. That thing has been glued to him since day one. Now Addi on the other hand plays with it but doesn't ever really suck on it. She goes to bed with a bottle and if she wakes up that is the only time she will take it. Well Brecken lost his binky and stole one of Addi's. So since addi could really care less about having one and Brecken Thieves whatever bink he can find and would probably still have one in high school if i don't cut the cord soon. haha. So I cut the cord Tuesday morning and I'm stickin to my guns. Garrett's cousin Zach who just left on his mission, he's in the MTC right now. Well Brecken Idolizes Zach and the rest of his brothers. So we told Brecken that Zach missed him and was scared and needed Brecken's binky. Brecken willingly threw all the binkies in the box and all the bikes and trucks that would fit.(we took those out of course) We have been binkyless for three full days and Addi has not had a single mood change. Brecken still has his moments but is getting much better. The last two nights he hasn't woke up at all but instead of sleeping in until 8:30 he is happy and ready to go at 6:30am. (I think he's been talking to his friend Brilynn) So he watches a movie and we go back to bed!!! haha. I'm glad that they are gone now, no more binky searches at 2 in the morning, or melt downs in the car because he forgot it. He actually seems a lot happier so yay for no more binkies. You know what they say fifth times a charm!!:) YAY BRECKEN!! We love you buddy!!
