I know its the beginning of the year and everyone has those I wanna lose 20 pounds and get in shape resolutions. I don't necessarily have resolutions this year as I have goals. I haven't nailed down exactly what I wanna do but there are a few things for certain. There are at least two half marathons that I wanna run this year. One in March and one in July. I'm hoping I can find another in the fall.
Garrett is training for a triathlon. There is one in Vegas that I'm not sure we'll make that one. He needs a road bike and well we're dirt poor so it'd be a miracle if we could find a steal of a deal that is in the budget!!:) But I'm proud of Garrett he is working really hard and letting me kick his trash in the gym.
We have free daycare with our membership and let me tell you we got a steal of a deal on a membership. I can take the kids in the morning for two hours and then we can take them in the evening again for two more hours amazing. (addi HATES it, literally the kids becomes glued to hip when we walk in, but it is getting better) So I started a spinning class that is on tuesday and thursday mornings. I LOVE working out. I feel like I'm a more positive person, a better mom and wife. I get to put my degree to use!! I feel great!! I ran a mile in 8 minutes flat and I'm not in good shape so I was pretty impressed. I want to be able to run it in 7min and 30 sec. Wish me luck!!
